How to use it step by step

The order matters more here than the amount of product. The repellent goes on clean, dry material before the pair hits the street for the first time, because it's easiest to protect a shoe before it gets dirty. The wipe is for emergencies: a splash of mud, a scuff on the toe, dust from the curb. The cleaning solution and accessories come into play when dirt has already set into the material and you need to put the brush to work. You leave the capsules in your shoes between wears, and swap in the waterproof laces when your old ones start to turn gray. The products in the kit are safe for leather, mesh, nubuck, and canvas, so one set will handle both mesh runners and leather classics.
