Salomons are designed as running shoes, so the last is narrow and the toe box is low. With a wide foot, take half a size up. Gore-Tex models have an extra membrane that eats a little volume - there too it is worth considering a size up.

Salomons look best with a wider leg that partly covers them - technical cargo trousers or sweatpants with an elastic hem. Paired with a puffer jacket they make up the most recognisable gorpcore look around today.
