The CloudTec sole is made of hollow elements that collapse on impact and then lock into a rigid position. That way the shoe cushions on landing and stays firm on push-off - two qualities that usually rule each other out. The stiffness comes from the Speedboard, a flexible plate running the full length of the sole that gathers the energy of the landing and returns it at toe-off.

How to size On

On has a slim last and a narrow heel - with a wide foot it is worth taking half a size up. The Cloudtilt, designed with city wear in mind, has a slightly roomier cut than the strictly running versions.

How to wear them

On looks best in minimal outfits - a single-colour shoe and a clean trouser leg without stacking. The white and grey versions work as an everyday shoe for the office, the colourful ones as an accent in a muted look.
