Golden Goose Shoes

Golden Goose shoes come from an Italian label born in Venice that built its name on a single idea: a sneaker should look like it has been worn for years before it even reaches the box. The core of the range is the Super-Star with its signature star on the side.

The worn-in look is not a print. The full-grain leather is distressed by hand and dyed in small batches, the sole gets a layer of patina and the laces are sometimes frayed on purpose - which is why every pair differs in the details and no two examples of the same model are ever identical. The lining is soft leather and the insole is removable.

How to size Golden Goose

Golden Goose uses Italian sizing, which runs roughly half a size below EU. With a standard foot, take one size up from your Nike or adidas sneakers. The Super-Star has a low heel, so it is not the best pick for a very high instep.

How to wear them

The Super-Star looks best in simple outfits where it is the only strong accent - with raw denim or plain trousers in a single colour. The distressed leather carries the character on its own, so the rest of the look can stay quiet.
